On the flip side, expanding into new markets means constantly transferring product expertise across countries, teams, and people. Training local teams takes a huge amount of time and travel, and when people change, part of that expertise leaves with them.
Sales and technical teams need to work closely together, but sales often needs answers immediately, while technical teams can't always be available when those questions come up.
